Stuffed Okra Recipe


Ingredients :

Okra/ Vendakkai/ Bhindi

Onions – 2 cups

Cumin seeds

Mustard

Red chili powder

Coriander powder

Turmeric powder

Green chili – 3 (finely chopped)

Oil

 

Method :

1. Cut the okra’s in the middle along the length

2. Remove the seeds from the okra

3. Put oil in a pan, heat it, add mustard, cumin seeds, onions (finely chopped), green chili’s, seeds removed from okra, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, fry well and add little water, let the masala cook

4. After the masala is ready stuff  little amount of masala to the okra into the cut made in it

5. Take a pan put oil and heat it, add the stuffed okra’s, fry them on medium heat, and the recipe is ready

 

Okra in tamil is called Vendakkai and in hindi is called Bhindi
