Delicious Kara Adai Recipe


Ingredients :

Boiled Rice – 1/2 cup

Rice – 1/2 cup

Black gram – 1/2 cup

Green gram – 1/2 cup

Red gram – 1/2 cup

Bengal gram – 1/2 cup

Curry leaves

Red chili’s – 10

Coconut – 4 Tbs (shredded)

Oil

 

Method :

1. Grind by adding the pulses, rice varieties, salt, red chili’s coarsely (soak the rice varieties and pulses before grinding)

2. Add shredded coconut and curry leaves to the batter and mix well

3. Heat the dosa pan put the batter like dosa’s but the batter should be more ie., thicker than dosa, put little oil around the adai and in the centre, and the recipe is ready

 

Black gram in tamil is called ulutham paruppu

Red gram in tamil is called thuvaram paruppu

Green gram in tamil is called payatham paruppu

Bengal gram in tamil is called kadalai paruppu

Boiled rice in tamil is called Puzhungal arisi
