Cauliflower Coconut Chutney Recipe


Ingredients :

Cauliflower – 1 cup (chop to little fine pieces)

Coconut/ Thengai – 1 cup (small pieces)

Onions – 1 cup

Tomato’s/ Thakkali – 2

Cashew nuts – 8

Cumin seeds

Mustard

Aniseed

Ginger Garlic paste/ Inji Poondu Vizhuthu

Cinnamon

Cloves

Green chili’s

Oil

Method :

1. Grind finely coconut, aniseeds, cinnamon, cloves, green chili’s, cashew nuts and add little water

2. Take a pan add oil, mustard, cumin seeds, allow it to splutter, now add onions, tomato’s, ginger garlic paste, cauliflower and fry well

3. Add the grinded coconut masala paste, salt, mix well, allow it to cook, and the recipe is ready

 

Cinnamon in tamil is called Pattai

Cloves in tamil is called Krambu

Cashew nuts in tamil is called Mundhiri Paruppu

Tomato in tamil is called Thakkali

Ginger Garlic Paste in tamil is called Inji Poondu Vizhuthu

Coconut in tamil is called Thengai

Splutter in tamil is called as Thalikirathu
