Ingredients :
Bengal gram – 1/2 cup
Red gram – 1/4 cup
Onions – 1 cup
Small onion – 1/2 cup
Tomato – 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste
Grated coconut
Red chili – 5
Green chili – 7
Coriander leaves
Kasa kasa
Cinnamon
Cloves
Aniseed
Oil
Method :
1. Grind coarsely both the gram’s by soaking them an hour before, also add red chili and aniseeds to it and grind
2. Add coriander leaves, small onions, salt to the batter and mix well, Make small flat rounds like vada with the batter and steam cook them
3. Take a pan add oil, onions, tomato’s, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, mix and fry well
4. Grind separately grated coconut, kasa kasa, green chili, cloves and cinnamon
5. Add the grinded masala paste to the fried ingredients, mix well, add water and close the lid for the curry to cook
6. After the curry cooks add the steam cooked vada’s to the curry, mix well and cook, the recipe is ready
