Ingredients :
Sevai
Tomato/ Thakkali – 2 big (chopped)
Onions/ Vengayam – 1 cup
Green chili’s/ Pachai Milagai – 4
Mustard/ Kaduku
Cumin seeds/ Seerakam/ Jeeragham
Urad dhal/ Ulundu
Curry leaves/ Karuveppilai
Coriander leaves/ Kothamalli ilai
Turmeric powder/ Manjal thool
Red chili powder/ Milagai thool
Coriander powder/ Dhania thool
Salt
Oil/ Yennai
Method :
1. Take a vessel, add water and heat it, while water is boiling add sevai and two drops of oil
2. Let the sevai cook until it becomes soft/ tender
3. Take another pan, add oil, mustard, cumin seeds, urad dhal, green chili’s and curry leaves, let it splutter. After it splutters add onions, tomato’s, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, mix and fry well
4. Add required amount of water and close the lid after frying the above ingredients
5. While the tomato masala is getting ready add the previously cooked sevai, mix well, garnish with coriander leaves, and the recipe is ready
