Easy, Spicy Scallops Masala Recipe


Ingredients :

Scallops

Onions/ Vengayam – 1 cup

Green onions/ Vengaya thal – 1 cup

Green chili’s/ Pachai milagai – 6

Ginger/ Inji

Garlic/ Poondu

Mint Leaves/ Pudina – 1 cup

Pepper powder/ Milagu thool

Red chili powder/ Milagai thool

Turmeric powder/ Manjal thool

Coriander powder/ Dhania thool

Garam masala

Mustard/ Kaduku

Cumin seeds/ seerakam/ jeeragham

Salt

Oil/ yennai

Method:

1. Take a pan, heat oil, add mustard and cumin seeds, let it splutter. Then add onions, green onions, green chili’s, ginger, garlic, pudina and turmeric powder, mix well and fry

2. After frying add scallops, mix and fry well. Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, pepper powder and salt. Mix and fry well, add sufficient amount of water and close the lid for the scallops to cook, the recipe is ready
