Ingredients:
Macaroni
Avocado/ Vennai pazham – 1/2 (smash it and keep separately)
Onion’s/ Vengayam – 1 cup
Green onion’s/ Vengaya thal – 4/5 chopped
Ginger Garlic paste/ Inji Poondu vizhuthu
Tomato Salsa – 5 tablespoons (or as substitute use tomato and green chili sauce)
Lemon juice/ Elumichai pazha saru
Coriander leaves/ kothamalli ilai
Red chili sauce/ Vara milagai vizhuthu
Turmeric powder/ Manjal thool
Coriander powder/ Dhania thool
Garam masala
Cumin seeds/ Seerakam
Mustard/ Kaduku
Salt
Oil/ Yennai
Method :
1. Add macaroni to boiling water, then add salt, little oil and cook without closing the lid for 3 to 4 minutes (cooking time may vary according to the quantity of macaroni added). After it gets cooked strain water and keep the macaroni’s separately in a bowl
2. Take a vessel add oil, cumin seeds and mustard. After it splutter’s add onions, green onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Mix and fry well
3. Now add the smashed avocado’s, salsa, red chili sauce, coriander powder and salt. Mix and fry well. Then add sufficient amount of water and close the lid for the ingredients to cook
4. Now add macaroni cooked previously to the avocado cooked above, mix well and fry. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves (to garnish) and the recipe is ready
