Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe | Eral Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients :

Shrimp/ Eral

Basmathi Rice – 3 cups

Onions/ Vengayam – 1 big

Green onions/ Vengaya thal – 4

Capsicum/ Bell Peppers/ Kudai milagai

Scrambled egg pieces- (made with 3 eggs)

Red chili sauce

Cocktail sauce (for shrimp)

Corn flour (dissolve it in 3/4 cups of water)

Soya sauce

Ginger garlic paste/ Inji poondu vizhuthu


Oil/ Yennai

Method :

1. Separetely cook rice and keep it aside

2. Take a pan, add oil and heat it, then add onions, green onions and bell peppers. Fry them until they turn into golden brown in color, keep it aside

3. Take another pan, add oil and heat it, now add the shrimp, red chili sauce, cocktail sauce and corn flour solution. Mix, fry well and let it cook

4. Now take a big frying pan, add oil and heat it, then add ginger garlic paste and fry well. After frying add the previously cooked rice, mix and fry well

5. Now add the other previously cooked items like onions, green onions, bell peppers, scrambled egg pieces and shrimp, mix and fry well

6. After mixing them well add soya sauce and salt. Mix and fry well, the recipe is ready

Ginger garlic paste in tamil is called  Inji poondu vizhuthu
