Baked Ahi Tuna with Stir Fried Portobello Mushrooms Recipe


Ahi Tuna – is Big eyed yellow fin tuna belonging to the species Albacares (“white meat”)

Ingredients :

1. Ahi Tuna – 1 small piece

2. 5 Pepper Seasoning (used for grilling) – 2 Tbs

3. Garlic Pepper Powder – 2 Tbs

4. Paprika – 1 – 1 1/2 Tbs

5. Pepper Powder – 2 Ts

6. Balsamic Vinaigrette – 2 – 3 Tbs

7. Portobello Mushrooms – 1 cup

8. Onions – 1 cup

9. Soya Sauce

10. Vinegar

11. Salt

12. Oil

Method : Preparing Baked Ahi Tuna 

1. Take a ziploc bag, add all the ingredients like 5 pepper seasoning, garlic pepper powder, paprika, pepper powder, balsamic vinaigrette and salt, mix them well. Now add the ahi tuna piece inside the ziploc bag and give it a nice mix with the other ingredients added

2. Set it aside for at least 20 -25 minutes (for marination)

3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees, place a baking sheet on the oven tray and grease the sheet with some oil

4. Place the ahi tuna piece (marinated) and bake them for 20 minutes ie., 10 minutes for each side, the recipe is ready, transfer it to the serving plate

Method : Preparing Stir Fried Portobello Mushrooms

1. Take a pan add oil and heat it, add onions and saute them well

2. Then add portobello mushrooms and saute them well. Now add pepper powder, soya sauce, vinegar, and salt one by one, Saute them well for 3-4 minutes, the recipe is ready, transfer it to the same plate were ahi tuna is served, garnish with coriander leaves
