Ingredients :
1. Shrimp / Prawns (clean and remove its tail)
2. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup
3. Green Chili / Pachai Milagai – 4/5
4. Ginger and Garlic / Inji and Poondu – finely chopped
5. Curry Leaves – few
6. Curry Masala Powder – 1 Tbs
7. Red Chili Powder / Milagai Thool – 1 Tbs
8. Coriander Powder / Dhania Thool – 3 Ts
9. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 2 Ts
10. Asafetida / Asafoetida
11. Cumin Seeds / Seerakam
12. Lemon Juice – from half lemon
13. Salt
14. Oil / Yennai
Method :
1. Take a pan add oil and heat it, add cumin seeds and let it splutter, then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, asafetida, and curry leaves, saute them well
2. Now add onions and saute it well for 2 -3 minutes, then add green chili’s saute it well
3. After sauteing all the above ingredients add curry masala powder, red chili powder and salt, mix all the ingredients together
4. Now add the prawns, saute them well and cook (until the prawns get cooked nicely), squeeze some lemon juice, garnish with coriander leaves, the recipe is ready
