Apple Cinnamon Rose Pie Recipe


Ingredients :

1. All Purpose Flour – 3 cups

2. Apple – cut into quarters and slice them thinly

(You can also use green apple slices for making roses and place them alternatively while baking the pie)

3. Butter – 1 cup of cubes

4. Sugar – 2 Ts for Pie Crust and 1 cup for apple roses

5. Water – 2 cups

6. Cinnamon Powder – 3 Ts

7. Salt

Method :

(1) Method for preparing Pie Crust (Pie Crust Recipe) 

1. Take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt, sugar, and butter cubes (add the butter cubes one by one and whisk it), until all the butter gets shredded and blends in with the flour, add sufficient amount of water, you can even use hands to knead the dough

2. After kneading the dough, put it inside a ziploc cover and refrigerate it for at least 4-5 hours, then use it for making the pie

(2) Method for preparing Apple Cinnamon Rose Pie Recipe

1. Make sugar syrup by heating 2 cups of water, cinnamon powder and 1 cup of sugar, Add the apple slices and let them boil in the syrup for 2 minutes, strain the water and set the apple slices aside

2. Pre heat oven to 300 F, Grease the baking sheet, Now make small flat round shape pieces with the dough (using a roller pin), arrange the apple slices like a rose on the crust, place them on the baking tray and bake them for 25-30 minutes/ until the pie crust is crisp / golden brown in color, the recipe is ready
