Indo-Chinese Special Schezwan Sauce Recipe


Ingredients :

1. Dried Red Chili / Kaaintha Milagai – 10

2. Garlic Cloves / Poondu – 6/7

3. Celery Stick / Sivarikkeerai – chop them finely to small pieces

4. Ginger / Inji

5. Tomato / Thakkali – 1 big

6. Vinegar – 1/4 cup

7. Soya Sauce

8. Pepper Powder / Milagu Thool

9. Tomato Ketchup – 2 Tbs

10. Sugar – a pinch

11. Salt

Method :

1. Soak celery stick, dried red chili’s, garlic in hot water for one hour, then grind it to a fine paste by also adding tomato

2. Take a pan add oil and heat it, add ginger, garlic and few celery stalk, saute them well, then add the grinded paste, mix all the ingredients well

3. Now add vinegar, soya sauce, pepper powder, sugar, tomato sauce and salt, one by one

4. Then cook until the sauce gets thick, the recipe is ready
