Stuffed Paneer Balls Recipe | Stuffed Cheese Balls Recipe


Ingredients :

1. Paneer / Cottage Cheese – 1 cup shredded

2. All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1/4 cup

3. Corn Starch – 1/4 cup

4. Semolina / Rava – 3 tbs

5. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup

6. Cumin Seeds / Seerakam

7. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 1/2 Ts

8. Coriander Powder / Dhania Thool – 2 Ts

9. Cumin Powder / Seeraka Podi – 1 Ts

10. Red Chili Powder / Milagai Thool

11. Garam Masala Thool

12. Dried Mint Leaves / Pudina Leaves

13. Bread Slices – 4 (remove their corners) soak them in water just for a second

14. Salt

15. Oil / Yennai

Method :

1. In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, shredded cottage cheese, semolina, corn starch, soaked bread slices, and salt. Mix them together and make a dough by adding sufficient amount of water

2. Now take a pan add oil and heat it, add cumin seeds and let it splutter, then add all other ingredients like coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, dried pudina/ mint leaves and onions one by one, mix and saute them well for 3-4 minutes / until the onions cook well

3. Make small balls out of the previously prepared dough and flatten them, add the onion masala in the center and close them (so they again turn into ball shaped)

4. Add oil in a deep frying pan and heat it, fry the cheese balls until they turn golden brown in color, serve hot with ketchup / sauce, the recipe is ready
