WaterCress is perennial plant, it is also a fast-growing aquatic or semi-aquatic plant, There botanical name is Nasturtium Officinale. They are native to Europe and Asian Countries. The flavor is very peppery, its the oldest known leafy-vegetable consumed by humans, They all belong to the garden cress, the leaves are round and scalloped.


Nutritional Facts :  It has Vitamins like Vitamin A, C, E, and K which is used to strengthen the bones, it has Calcium and Iron, it has more calcium than milk / other leafy vegetables like Lettuce / Spinach, according to the studies made on watercress scientists have found significant amount of anti-cancer properties, are also useful in preventing iron deficiency
