Ingredients :
1. Basmati Rice / Long Grain Rice / Basmati Arisi – 3 cups -cooked
2. Carrots – 1 cup
3. Green Peas / Pachai Pattani – 1 cup
4. Corn – 1 cup
5. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup
6. Cumin Seeds / Seerakam
7. Bay Leaves / Brinji Ilai
8. Cinnamon / Pattai
9. Ginger and Garlic / Inji and Poondu
10. Green Chili / Pachai Milagai – 3/4
11. Grated Coconut / Thuruviya Thengai – 1/4 cup
12. Ghee
13. Pepper Powder / Milagu Thool – 1 Tbs
14. Salt
Method :
Grind to Paste : by adding ingredients like green chili, ginger, garlic, and grated coconut
1. Take a pan add ghee and heat it, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and let it splutter
2. Then add onions and saute them well
3. Add all other vegetables like carrots, corn and green peas, saute them well, then add pepper powder, again saute them well
4. Now add the grinded paste, salt and sufficient amount of water, close it with lid and let it cook, when the vegetables get cooked, mix the cooked basmati rice, transfer it to the serving plate, the recipe is ready
