Cassava Fritters (Vadai) Recipe – Indian Style


Ingredients :

1. Cassava – shredded – 1 packet

2. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup

3. Green Onion / Vengaya Thaal – 2/3 – finely chopped

4. Green Chili / Pachai Milagai – 2 – finely chopped

5. Curry Leaves / Karuveppilai – few – chopped

6. Ginger and Garlic / Inji and Poondu – finely chopped

7. All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1/4 cup

8. Rice Flour / Arisi Maavu – 2-3 Tbs

9. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 1 Ts

10. Coriander Powder / Dhania Thool – 1 Ts

11. Red Chili Powder / Milagai Thool – 2-3 Ts

12. Garam Masala Powder – 2 Ts

13. Salt

14. Oil / Yennai

Method :

1. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients like cassava, onions, green onions, green chili’s, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, all purpose flour, rice flour, and salt. Mix all the ingredients together add water little by little and knead it to a fine and smooth dough

2. Make small balls out of the dough and flatten them slightly, Take a pan add oil and heat it, Deep fry the fritters, and the recipe is ready
