Asparagus Stir Fry Recipe Indian Style | Asparagus Poriyal Recipe


Ingredients :

1. Asparagus – cut into small pieces

2. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup

3. Ginger Garlic Paste / Inji Poondu Vizhuthu

4. Garlic Cloves / Poondu – 2/3

5. Peanuts / Nila Kadalai

6. Dried Red Chili / Kaaintha Milagai – 3

7. Asafetida

8. Coriander Cumin Powder / Dhania Seerakam Podi – 2 Ts

9. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 1 Ts

10. Cumin Seeds and Mustard / Seerakam & Kaduku

11. Sesame Oil

Method :

1. Steam cook asparagus pieces by adding little salt and oil, then strain water and keep it aside

2. Now take a pan, add oil and heat it, add cumin’s and mustard, let it splutter, then add other ingredients like dried red chili’s, asafetida, coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, garlic cloves, peanuts, mix and fry well

3. Then add onion’s, mix and fry well, also add salt, ginger garlic paste, mix well,

4. Now add the previously cooked asparagus, cook for 2/3 minutes, the recipe is ready
