South Indian Style Chicken Fry Recipe


Ingredients :

1. Chicken / Kozhi – boneless pieces – chopped to small pieces

2. Onion / Vengayam  – 1 cup

3. Tomato / Thakkali – 1 cup

4. Green Chili / Pachai Milagai – 2

5. Curry Leaves / Karuveppilai

6. Ginger Garlic Paste / Inji Poondu Vizhuthu

7. Coriander Cumin Powder / Dhania Seerakam Podi – 2 Ts

8. Red Chili Powder / Milagai Thool – 2-3 Ts

9. Turmeric Powder  / Manjal Thool – 1 Ts

10. Garam Masala Powder – 1 Ts

11. Chicken Masala Powder – 1 Ts

12. Oil / Yennai

Method :

1. Take a pan add oil and heat, then add chicken, turmeric powder and salt, mix well and close the lid and let the chicken cook

2. After the transparent texture of the chicken goes add onion and green chili’s, mix and fry well, then add ginger garlic paste, mix well and close the lid, let it cook

3. Then add tomato’s, mix well and again close the lid and let it cook

4. Now add all the dry powder ingredients one by one like garam masala powder, chicken masala powder, coriander cumin powder, red chili powder, pepper powder (optional), mix well and let it cook, then add curry leaves mix and fry well for 1-2  more minute, the recipe is ready, garnish with coriander leaves
