Festival Special Carrot Halwa Recipe | Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe


Ingredients :

1. Carrot / Gajar – 10 (peeled and grated finely)

2. Milk – 3 cups

3. Sugar / Sarkarai – 2 cups

4. Cardamom Powder / Elaichi Powder / Yellakai Powder – 3 Ts

5. Cashew Nuts / Munthiri Paruppu / Kaju – 10

6. Ghee

Method :

1. Take a pan add ghee like 2-3 Ts and heat it, then add carrots and saute them well, until all the moisture is absorbed, then add milk, stir it frequently until the milk also gets absorbed

2. Now add sugar and cardamom powder, mix well, and stir frequently, until the halwa doesn’t stick to the base and comes out smoothly. Then take another vessel, add little bit of ghee and roast cashew nuts, and add it to the carrot halwa, the recipe is ready
