Mushroom Paneer Kadai Curry Recipe


Ingredients : 

1. Mushroom – chopped – 12

2. Paneer – cubed  – fried to golden brown in oil

3. Onion / Vengayam – 1 cup cut into cube size pieces

4. Tomato / Thakkali – 1 cup

5. Bell Peppers / Capsicum / Kudai Milagai – 1 cup cut into cube size pieces

6. Cumin Seeds / Seerakam

7. Ginger Garlic Paste / Inji Poondu Vizhuthu

8. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 1 Ts

9. Coriander Cumin Powder / Dhania Seerakam Podi – 2 Ts

10. Fennel Powder / Saunf Powder / Sombu Powder – 1 Ts

11. Red Chili Powder / Milagai Thool – 2 Ts

12. Garam Masala Powder – 1 Ts

13. Salt

14. Oil / Yennai

* Grind To Paste :

1. Onion / Vengayam  – 1/2 chopped

2. Tomato  / Thakkali – 1 chopped

3. Green Chili / Pachai Milagai – 2 chopped

4. Cashew Nuts – 8/9

Method :

1. Take a pan add oil and heat it, add cumin seeds and let them splutter, then add ginger garlic paste, onions, saute it well

2. Now add tomato, saute it well, then add all masala powder ingredients like coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, and salt, mix it well

3. Add mushrooms, mix it well, saute it for 1-2 minutes, then add the grinded paste and bell peppers, mix it well, add sufficient amount of water if required and let the curry cook, then add some creamer (optional), mix it well, then add the fried paneer pieces, mix it well and let the curry cook for 2 more minutes, garnish with coriander leaves, the recipe is ready
