Caramel Nuts Brittle Recipe (Homemade Toffee)


Ingredients :

  1. Heavy Whipping Cream – 1/2 cup
  2. Butter – 1 stick
  3. Almond Nuts – crushed to fine pieces – 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar – 1 cup
  5. Water – 3 Tbs
  6. Corn Syrup – 3 Ts
  • You can also add some crushed rock salt on top


Method :

  1. Take the heavy cream and butter (break into pieces) in a microwave safe vessel and microwave it for 1 minute, then mix it well, if the butter has not melted properly then microwave it for another 30 seconds
  2. For making sugar syrup, heat a vessel add the water and sugar, mix it well, also add the corn syrup, mix it well, keep on stirring it, until the syrup turns to light yellowish color, then add the heavy cream and butter mixture, mix it well, also add the almonds, keep on stirring it, until you can see the mixture thickening and comes out smoothly without sticking to base, at this point remove from stove and transfer it to a greased tray
  3. Let it cool, then cut them to random pieces, the recipe is ready
