Mushroom Paneer Malai Curry Recipe


Ingredients :
1. Mushroom – 10 chopped
2. Paneer – fried – 1 cup
3. Onion / Vengayam – 2 chopped
4. Heavy Whipped Cream – 1/4 cup

Dry Powder Ingredients :
1. Turmeric Powder / Manjal Thool – 1 Ts
2. Cumin Powder / Serrakam Podi – 1 Ts
3. Garam Masala Powder – 1 Ts
4. Coriander Powder / Dhania Thool – 2 Ts
5. Salt

Ingredients to saute and grind :
1. Cashew Nuts / Mundhiri – few
2. Fennel Seeds / Sombu – 1/2 Ts
3. Carrot – 1/2 cup
4. Tomato / Thakkali – 1 chopped
5. Dried Red Chili / Kaaintha Milagai – 4 or 5

 


Method :

  1. Take a vessel, add butter and oil, heat it, then add all the ingredients mentioned under to saute and grind, mix and saute well until the raw flavor of the ingredients goes away, then grind them to a fine paste by adding them to a blender
  2. Now heat the same vessel by adding oil, then add the onions and saute it until it turns slightly golden brown in color then add salt, also add the dry powder ingredients, mix well, Then add mushroom, saute it well, add the grinded paste, also sufficient amount of water, let the curry cook
  3. Once the curry gets almost cooked, add paneer, mix well, also add the creamer, mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the flame, garnish with coriander leaves, the recipe is ready
