Mixed Vegetable Sevai Recipe – Indo Chinese Style


Vegetable Sevai is a dish made with rice noodles / sevai, we can make variety of sevai’s like lemon, peas, and etc., now we are going to see how to make mixed vegetable sevai with indo chinese version

Vegetable Sevai

Ingredients For Making Vegetable Sevai :

  1. Sevai / Rice Noodles – cooked in by adding it in boiling water or as per instructions given on the package
  2. Mixed Vegetables like broccoli or carrots or green peas or french beans
  3. Onion / Vengayam – 1 chopped
  4. Green Onion / Vengayathaal – 4 or 5
  5. Pepper Powder – 2 Ts
  6. Salt

Grind To Paste Ingredients :

1. Dried Red Chili – 4
2. Garlic / Poondu – 5 cloves
3. Small Onions / Shallots / Chinna
Vengayam – 5 chopped

Sauce Mixture Ingredients :

1. Tomato Sauce
2. Vinegar
3. Soya Sauce

 

Method  For Making Vegetable Sevai :

  1. Take a pan add oil and heat it, add the onions and green onions, saute it well, after sauteing the onions add the other vegetables and saute them, add pepper powder and salt, mix well
  2. Add the sauce mixture and the grinded paste, mix well and let all the ingredients cook well, then finally add the cooked sevai, mix well, the recipe is ready
